THE FRENCH CALL IT ‘TERROIR’
-WE CALL IT ‘GRAVEL & LOAM

Our wines are born from the unique soils of Marlborough’s Wairau Valley, where ancient gravelly riverbeds and loamy deposits create the ideal environment for vibrant, expressive Sauvignon Blanc.
In the Upper Wairau, clay-rich terraces add depth and structure, while river stones lend a fine, stony mineral edge. The result is a wine of lifted aromatics, and bright purity.
