Bursting with diverse plant and animal life, the valley is home to a rich ecosystem that flourishes alongside our vineyards. Here, the gravel and loam soils create an ideal foundation for producing elegant, expressive wines. The distinctive blend of schist and alluvial gravels, complemented by natural deposits of clay, quartz, and mica, creates a free-draining environment that drives the vines to dig deep into the earth for nutrients and moisture, keeping yields low and enhancing the concentration of flavours and aromas.
